can you still get angry birds star wars

The Angry Birds take on Darth Vader

In the officially licensed Star Wars-themed game Angry Birds Star Wars, players can interact with movie characters such as Dath Vader, C3PO, and R2D2.

After the success of Angry Birds Space, the irritated birds are making a second trip into space. Some of the space physics from the original Angry Birds game are still present in this version, along with new special abilities like the ability to wield a light saber and use force.

Presentation

Addicts who enjoyed A New Hope will love Angry Birds Star Wars. It travels to all the famous spots from the movie, such as Tatooine, Hoth, and the Pig Star (which is based on the Death Star). The piggies dress up as stormtroopers, tuskan raiders, and other similar characters, while the Angry Birds are centered around heroes like Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, and Obi Wan Kenobi.

Angry Birds Star Wars is the best-presented game series to date because of the magnificent recreation of the locations and characters as well as the original score’s music.

Gameplay

Angry Birds Star Wars maintains the same core gameplay as the original Angry Birds game. To destroy the bad guys and smash a structure, you fire birds from a catapult at it. Depending on how quickly you complete this task and advance to the next level, you can earn stars.

Angry Birds Star Wars has about 80 levels, and even though the first few are relatively easy on Tatooine, finishing them will take a while. Additionally, there are some entertaining bonus levels where you can play as R2D2 or C3PO.

Angry Birds Star Wars’ gameplay has been slightly altered from earlier iterations of the game. Now, for example, you can use the force to slow down your bird while it is in midair or use your light saber to break objects.

Verdict

No denying that Angry Birds Star Wars plays a lot like earlier iterations, even with these intriguing new gameplay features. Although Angry Birds fans will love this, others may find the game monotonous, irritating, and exhausting.

Undoubtedly, Angry Birds Star Wars is an extravagantly produced arcade game that will captivate players who enjoy the original game as well as the film.

Playable characters

Many novice and expert players were excited about the new crossover when the game came out in 2012, claiming that the improved gameplay (even without the crossover) made it superior to the original game. [5].

However, the game’s console ports had a few minor bugs. When the console versions were first released in 2013, a common grievance with them was their price, which ranged from $30 to $50 USD. [6][7] Although the Wii U version of the game retailed for US$50, players felt that the game pad implementation was a nice touch. [8] Players of the PlayStation Vita version of the game have reported difficulty manipulating the touch controls while holding the device. [9] Players of the Xbox 360 version felt that the story could have included more dramatic moments akin to those in previous Star Wars games, and that features such as multiplayer and Kinect support were “just merely there.” [10] PlayStation 3 users perceived the game as “out of place” on the system and thought it was more expensive than on other platforms. [11].

Server Shutdown

It was revealed on February 3, 2020, that the servers for Angry Birds Star Wars had been shut down because of licensing problems, along with Angry Birds Rio and Angry Birds Star Wars II. The game can still be played normally, but there are no in-app purchases or adverts available to the player. This also implies that certain episodes, like Boba Fett Missions and Path of the Jedi, cannot be unlocked immediately through purchase; instead, they must be unlocked by either three-starring every episode or gathering every jetpack.

After completing the Death Star’s construction, Princess Leia is abducted by Darth Vader and left in a room with R2-D2. After she implants the Death Star’s blueprints into the robot’s memory, he utilizes an escape pod to flee with C-3PO. Later, Darth Vader coerces Leia into telling him where “The Egg” is, an item he needs to locate in order to become Emperor, but she declines. While this is going on, C-3PO and R2-D2 land on Tatooine, where they are discovered by some Jawa Birds who decide to sell them in an attempt to make some cash. [4].

A while later, Luke Skywalker encounters the Jawa Birds while purchasing supplies for his farm, and they offer him R2-D2 and C-3PO. When he chooses to purchase them, the Jawa Birds depart happy. Luke learns from the robots about the Death Star and Leia’s captivity. [4] Later, as Luke travels through Tatooine, he encounters some Tusken Raiders, who are able to take him out. Fortunately however, Obi-Wan Kenobi comes in and saves him. The two next head to a cantina, where they run into Han Solo and Chewbacca. Then, Jabba the Hutt sends Greedork to find the heroes, and he shows up. [4] But Han sees him and fires a laser at him. Later, the group travels to space aboard the Mighty Falcon, departing from Tatooine. There, they locate the Death Star and proceed to it. They are supported by the Blue Squadron as well.

Following their mission aboard the Death Star, the team engages in combat with Darth Vader, who bestows greater Force power upon both Obi Wan and the villain. Later, Vader drives his TIE fighter in another battle with the heroes. Against all odds, the team defeats Darth Vader and destroys the Death Star’s main reactor, setting off a series of events that ultimately leads to the star’s explosion.

Afterwards, the Bird Rebels travel to Hoth and establish Echo Base, a covert headquarters. After learning of the base, Darth Vader leads his army to Hoth, where they engage the Rebels in combat. [4] The heroes are forced to flee and wind up on one of the planet’s asteroids. The group finds themselves in a cave full of hostile Mynhogs, but they persevere, vanquishing the Giant Mynhog and departing.

A while after these incidents, Han Solo’s longtime friend Lando Birdissian is visited by the Bird Rebels in Cloud City, a floating city on the planet Gaspin. The gang is ignorant, though, that Darth Vader already knows this and has compelled Lando to divulge to him every detail regarding the Rebel hostage. [4] Later on, Solo is captured by Darth Vader and Boba Fett, who then freeze him in carbonite. Remorseful for his assistance to Vader, Lando joins forces with the Rebels to defeat the villain. After a duel, Luke confronts Darth Vader, who then acknowledges that he is his father. However, Luke still manages to defeat him. The Bird Rebels later leave.

A later time, Luke and R2-D2 journey to Dagobah aboard the X-wing Birdfighter ship so Yoda can instruct Luke. After the ship sinks due to an accidental landing on Dragonsnake Bog, Luke and Yoda meet and Yoda begins training Luke to become a Jedi Master. Luke and R2-D2 would later leave Dagobah. Meanwhile, on Tatooine, after Leia rescues Han from his carbonite prison, Jabba the Hutt kidnaps the two of them. However, Luke comes in and saves his friends. The three heroes later leave after choking Jabba to death. The Ewok Birds and the Bird Rebels meet on the moon of Planet Endor, where they destroy one of Darth Vader’s bases.

In the meantime, Vader and his henchmen have completed construction of the Death Star 2, which has the capacity to instantly destroy entire battleships. But Lando and the Bird Rebels are able to undermine the ship’s defenses, allowing them to board it. There, Darth Vader and his boss, Emperor Palpatine, square off against the Bird Rebels in the decisive battle. But Vader suddenly changes his mind and takes out Palpatine, severely wounding him in the process. Then, a distraught Luke removes Vader’s armor so he can see his face for the first time. But afterwards, a series of events leads to the Death Star 2 blowing up, forcing the heroes to evacuate. Later, the Bird Rebels celebrate their victory while Obi Wan, Vader, Yoda, and C-3PO, dressed as Jedi spirits, watch them.

The gameplay of the puzzle video game Angry Birds Star Wars is reminiscent of earlier Angry Birds titles. In the game, the player controls a small flock of birds that can be hurled in any direction with a slingshot. Every level has a number of enemies that the player must defeat with their characters. These adversaries typically emerge hidden behind glass, metal, or wood structures, along with a few extra items like chains and TNT. A Level Failed screen will appear if the player doesn’t succeed in eliminating every enemy in the level, urging them to try again. But if they succeed, they’ll advance to the next round and win. The player will receive one, two, or three stars based on their score after finishing each level.
