Our new Smart Hummingbird Feeder is about to launch, and as we’ve started to share more and more amazing footage from our field test units, we’ve noticed that you, our community, are overwhelmingly sharing and amplifying our love for this new addition to the Bird Buddy world. We are ecstatic that so many of you want to make this the most amazing hummingbird year yet as well. However, as a result of your overwhelming enthusiasm, we also realized that there is probably not going to be enough Smart Hummingbird Feeders in stock for everyone who wants to purchase one this season. Â.

As a new bonus for the most ardent among you, we have decided to open our pre-order page for the Smart Hummingbird Feeder to all of our Pro members 24 hours in advance. On Wednesday, February 28th, you will have the advantage of securing your pre-order one day early because you are a Pro member. Everyone will then be able to place pre-orders with the remaining stock the following day, on Thursday, February 29. The first batch of inventory will begin shipping in May, right before the hummingbirds begin their annual migration back south in late summer and disappear until the following spring. Â.

The Bird Buddy’s camera can produce 5MP images and 720p videos (including livestream) with a 120-degree viewing angle for free, but if you want to bump up its video resolution to 1080p, you’ll need to subscribe to Bird Buddy Pro at $3 per month or $30 per year.

How much is Bird Buddy per month?

A Bird Buddy Pro membership unlocks certain app features and higher video quality and costs $2.50 monthly for an annual membership or $2.99 for a monthly plan. The base-level Bird Buddy costs $239, but we suggest upgrading to the version with a solar roof for unlimited battery life for $299.

When did Bird Buddy come out?
