Where to find fossils in Pokémon Sword and Shield
Pokémon Sword and Shield offers you the chance to discover four different kinds of fossils. Depending on the version you’re playing, these fossils’ locations vary.
The four fossils you can find are:
- Fossilized Bird
- Fossilized Dino
- Fossilized Drake
- Fossilized Fish

The Digging Duo is located in Bridge Field, the Wild Area, close to the Pokémon Nursery.
The Digging Duo are two brothers who, as their name implies, will gladly search for uncommon objects on your behalf in return for Watts. On the left is the brother with skill, and on the right is the brother with endurance.
While the right-hand brother has greater endurance and can retrieve more items from the ground, the left-hand side brother is more adept at digging and will bring you rarer items.
