Step 1: Draw the head as shown above. Draw down a bit to further define the neck after making a point for the beak. You will want to make the neck thin.
Step 2: Draw a single, straight horizontal line to represent the Emu’s mouth and a large circle for its eye.
Step 3: The body may be difficult to draw, so you should carefully study the image above. To draw the leg off of, you’ll want a big bump at the bottom. Before creating the thicker body part, you should also lengthen the neck.
Step 4: Draw the tail by filling in the space left by the body, but remember to add a lot of sharp edges and bumps to make the tail look like feathers.
Step 5: Use two lines that split off from the body to depict the leg, leaving three toes. To demonstrate how sharp the toes can be, draw little lines.
