How to Draw a Magpie – Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: To begin drawing the magpie, create two tiny triangles with a small gap in the bottom right corner to represent the bird’s pointed beak. In China and Korea, this bird is symbolic of good fortune.
Step 2: Sketch the head by forming a curve from the beak, and then sketch another tiny curve from the beak’s bottom.
Step 3: Draw a small circle for the eye and a smaller circle inside for the pupil to add the eye.
Step 4: Draw a smooth line down the back to begin drawing the body. Create a gentle downward curve for the front as well, but bring it in to seal the bottom. Magpies can grow to be only 50 cm long!.
