Texas Migratory Game Bird Endorsement

Required for the following:

Hunt all migratory game birds, including woodcock, sandhill cranes, snipe, dove, rail, coot, and waterfowl.
in addition to a Federal Duck Stamp and HIP Certification for waterfowl hunters who are sixteen years of age or older

To hunt sandhill cranes, one must obtain a free Federal Sandhill Crane Hunting Permit, which can be obtained online, at TPWD Law Enforcement offices, or by calling (800) 792-1112.
