The developer, Bird Rides, Inc., indicated that the app’s privacy practices may include handling of data as described below. For more information, see the developer’s privacy policy.

Bird Access charges $5 per month to users who are enrolled in or qualified for government assistance programs for three, five, or unlimited daily rides of thirty minutes or less, depending on the city. In certain cities, Bird Access users can purchase Bird credits with cash at more than 27,000 CVS and 7-11 locations, or they can use prepaid debit cards that can be used in-app. Additionally, the program gives non-smartphone users the option to register for text-to-ride, which allows users to unlock cars via SMS text messages. Send an email to access@bird with proof of eligibility, a copy of your government-issued ID, your full name, and your phone number to sign up for Bird Access or the text-to-unlock program. co. Participating riders will receive text-to-unlock instructions so that scooters can be unlocked via SMS message.
