How to Draw a Cuckoo – Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step 1: Have you ever seen a clock with a bird emerging from it? If so, it’s probably a Cuckoo clock! These birds are known for their funny beaks, so let’s start there. Draw two pointy triangles for the beak.

Step 2: Draw a curved bump on top of the head and a smaller line behind it. Additionally, add a second curved line for the neck along the bottom. Finally, sketch an oval for the eye with another circle inside.

Step 3: Now start drawing the wing. Create a long, curved line that ends with two feathery points along the bottom. Then, draw a few bumps inside for the feather detail. They Cuckoos have a wingspan of up to 2 ft. !.

Step 4: For the tail feathers, draw two angled lines up to the tip of a square. Cuckoos can reach more than 1 foot in length.
